The Tsunami family of wireless Ethernet bridges provides a variety of
plug-and-play solutions to the growing demand for transparent, reliable,
and economical high-speed network interconnectivity. With four distinct
platforms from which to choose, network planners can select the optimum
solution to their specific application.
Tsunami offers exceptional flexibility, reliability, and interoperability
with existing networks. Its unrivaled ease of installation and hassle-free
operation make it the ideal solution for all wide-area network
extensions, remote access, and interconnect applications utilizing
standard Ethernet interfaces.
Additionally, the Fast Ethernet (45 Mbps) models of Tsunami offer an
independent wayside T1 (or E1) channel that can be used to provide
simultaneous wireless connections for traditional telco devices such as
PBX and video conferencing equipment.

Tsunami offers a comparable or significantly better ROI than fiber or
leased lines. There are also other benefits, including the security and
peace-of-mind arising from the users being in control of their own
infrastructure, as well as improved reliability and flexibility over a
leased line connection. Tsunami fills a unique gap between very high
bandwidth SONET-over-fiber or microwave and low bandwidth wireless LANs.
The user can substantially extend the distance for LAN connections,
exceeding 50 miles with some models, with no trade-off between distance and
bandwidth required.

Intelligent Connections
All Tsunami wireless bridges implement "smart" bridging that is
self-learning. This feature reduces the unnecessary use of bandwidth
through the bridge, virtually eliminating "flooding." These bridges are
transparent to the network, with performance as good or better than fiber
or wire.
